What a week to round off our adventures for 2023! As well as all the usual fun and games we met two new friends who’ll be joining us in Evergreen Wood, stick insects Stephen and Poppy. Everyone will be taking care of them and making sure they’ve plenty of water and food to eat while they watch the antics going on around them 😄.

To finish the week and get ready for the big day we had a Christmas party 🎄🥳 with a disco 🪩 and face painting 🎨🖌️. We also had a very special visitor, a few actually, as Santa 🎅🏻 and his horse 🐴 arrived giving his reindeer a rest before their big run, and he got a Police escort through the Christmas traffic 🚔👮🏻👮🏼‍♂️. Everyone had a great time meeting Santa and the Neighbourhood Policing Team, and apologies for the dozens of wet boot prints inside their car 😬😄. Santa had presents to deliver then on his way again as the days count down to his Christmas Eve round the world race 🛷.

A huge thank you to Nicholas’ Mum, Auntie and family for helping organise Santa’s visit and his PSNI escort. Thank you also to all our families for the avalanche of gifts 🎁 delivered throughout the last week and for your support through Term 1. Have a very Merry Christmas and happy New Year and we’ll see you in 2024 for more crazy adventures! 🌲😊.
