This week we’ve been visiting local landmarks and doing a bit of time travelling visiting the Abbey established way back in 1193! We made the long walk from the Hall and had a well deserved picnic when we arrived, then off exploring we went investigating the ruins of the church and cloister. We also met a local celebrity Wolfie the Knight Dog who showed off his skills and posed for some photos, many thanks to him and Peter for joining us for some fun. We’ve more to see so we’ll definitely be back.
It wasn’t all big trips as we still had plenty to do to prepare for Sports Day with our friends at Greyabbey Primary School, so we’ve been practicing our sprints and egg and spoon racing to get ready.
