Our last week of Space exploration was packed with art, investigation, and explosions as we launched ourselves almost into orbit 🚀. We were painting planets from our own island in the stars 🌍 and those out in the far reaches of the solar system 🪐. Engineering work needed done on our starship which had everyone crawling through tight spaces to keep our ship flying (Jefferies tubes if you’re a Trekkie 🖖). We had a special visit from Mr Shepard, Principal of Greyabbey Primary School and P1 and 2 teacher Mrs Adair who came to play and join us for circle time. We also got out into the Autumn air to send our own rocket high into the sky, hopefully didn’t scare the birds 🚀.

Our rocket launches helped us make a trip around our cosmic neighbourhood which you can see on our YouTube Channel right here 📺 https://youtu.be/Auz4rJIAyKc?si=geIEAA4uk4nUZSVW

Robbie the Robot 🤖 made it back to Earth from his danger filled mission to Triton and we’ll see some highlights of his adventures and what he brought back to experiment on next week.

As one theme leaves another comes along and it’s all change for the festive season 🎄. See everyone on Monday! 🌲😊
