A later post than usual as we had an extra special day to squeeze in before the holidays. We were out in the sunshine as much as possible last week just in case this is summer passing by, and had adventures in the park and at Ashley’s house meeting her tortoise Nigel 🐢 and her chickens 🐓.
We took a break from our theme to focus on making some great Easter crafts to take home and started work on building our outdoor classroom to have us out in the fresh air as much as possible in the months ahead 🏕️ We also had a go at some Big Bubble Science with a special recipe to let our bubbles get to giant sizes 🫧.
Monday took us to Mount Stewart for a Spring Walk and picnic amongst all the great Easter activities scattered throughout the grounds. We tested out the sensory trail, smelled some flowers coming into bloom, and met some bees hard at work in their hives 🐝. It was great to have Mums, Dads, Grannies and special friends along for the fun and we’ll try to get back for a summer walk before the end of term.
Wishing everyone a great Easter break and we’ll see you all for more adventures on Monday April 28th! 🌲😊
