February has arrived and with it our new theme, Fairytale February! This month we’ll be learning about what makes up a fairy tale and where they came from, along with what characters and enchanted places we’ll find in them. Stories of adventures with castles and dragons that stretch from hundreds of years ago in different countries, to the adventures of princesses, knights, and wizards in a galaxy far far away ⚔️🛡️🐴🏰🐲.
Before we get to all of that this week the focus was getting ready for Valentine’s Day with lots of crafts to take home for loved ones. We also made time to start our Footloose Friday project where we’ll be learning about different kinds of music and with half-term break coming up we squeezed in a Valentine’s Disco as well 🪩.
