We were down in the woods this week checking out the tiny ecosystems mini-beasts inhabit. Everyone had homework fun with their bug hunts so we knew which creepy crawlies we might find and we discovered worms, beetles, centipedes and woodlouse all going about their daily business on the forest floor. Nearly time to leave this topic behind with a new month next week and new things to learn.
