We’re back from the Halloween break with a new theme as we leave our planet behind and head for ‘Space, Above & Beyond’ 🪐🚀. This week we started learning about the Solar System, the planets that make up our cosmic neighbourhood and why ours is a lot nicer than the harsh environments of the other worlds that orbit the sun ☀️. To get to space we learned about how rockets work, played with some rocket fuel 🔥, and launched a rocket of our own into the sky above Playschool powered by air and water which was a bit safer! 🚀
Amongst those adventures we paid a visit to Grey Abbey Primary School for a stay and play with the P1 and 2 class, seeing some old friends and having fun making new ones. A big thank you to Mrs Adair and Mr Shepard for the invite.
