Another busy week in the run up to Sports Day with our friends at Grey Abbey Primary School. All the practicing was worth it as we got a brilliant sunny day ☀️ to run some races and enjoy the atmosphere at the Rosemount Estate. Everybody headed in the right direction for our running races and the always tricky egg and spoon and it was great to have the crowd cheer on all our Evergreen kids. Races done we relaxed with a picnic 🧺, watched the big boys and girls races and grabbed and ice cream 🍦 before getting medals to round off a brilliant day 🏅.
Our thanks to our parent volunteers, the Montgomery’s for letting us play in their wonderful estate, and to Grey Abbey Primary School for the invitation to take part. A very special thank you to Grey Abbey’s Principle Mr Derrick as this was his last Sports Day before retiring, he’s been a huge support to the Playschool and he’ll be greatly missed.
