This week down in Evergreen Wood saw Sports Day arrive to test if all that practicing had paid off, but first we had some regular fun to attend to. We got an early start on our final theme before the end of term and made some changes to our play areas, and were out and about on a visit to Ashley’s house to see the froglets thriving in her garden 🐸. We had a final test of running legs and egg balancing and added some hopping, jumping, crawling and slithering because why not 😄.

Sports Day arrived on Friday with the weather thankfully being kind and everyone had a great time. We ran our own races cheered on by the children and families of Greyabbey Primary School, and got our own families in on the action too! Ice creams were needed afterwards while we watched the bigger boys and girls do their races and everyone got medals for being super sports stars 🏅. A big thank you to all our families who joined us on the morning and to Greyabbey Primary School’s Principal Mr Shephard for the invite to the lovely Rosemount Estate.

Have a restful weekend and the fun starts again on Monday! 🌲😊
