We’re having an Open Evening on January 5th 6.30pm to 7.30pm for families seeking a FREE pre-school place for September 2026. We’re moving to full-time status for the new year and from September we’ll be open 9.15am to 1.45pm and a hot school lunch option will be available provided by EA’s Catering Service

.Applications open on the EA website on January 7th at 12noon and close on January 21 at 12 noon. If your child was born on or between 2 July 2022 and 1 July 2023 they’ll eligible for a FREE pre-school place five days per week funded by the Government.
We’ve information about the big changes for Evergreen Wood on our website HERE and hopefully our expanded hours will help families save money on private childcare, give time for parents to perhaps consider part-time work knowing care costs won’t drain finances, or just a chance to make the most of the extra time while children are happily playing and learning for longer.
We have an ‘Expression of Interest’ form on our website to keep everyone in the loop on the application process ahead of it opening next week.
