It was the last week of our ‘The Wonders of Winter’ ❄️ theme and we were making our last dash to the poles 🧭 to learn about the coldest of places. We skipped from the barren landscape of the Tundra to the ice pack to learn about polar bears 🐻❄️, narwhals and orcas, then raced to the bottom of the world to visit with lots of different types penguins 🐧 some bigger than our classmates, along with whales and more 🐋.
We learned how the North Pole is floating ice 🧊 and the South Pole is a land of rivers, lakes and volcanoes 🌋 buried in the ice, Santa picked the right pole as long as global warming doesn’t get worse! 😬
