It was the last week of our ‘The Wonders of Winter’ βοΈ theme and we were making our last dash to the poles π§ to learn about the coldest of places. We skipped from the barren landscape of the Tundra to the ice pack to learn about polar bears π»ββοΈ, narwhals and orcas, then raced to the bottom of the world to visit with lots of different types penguins π§ some bigger than our classmates, along with whales and more π.
We learned how the North Pole is floating ice π§ and the South Pole is a land of rivers, lakes and volcanoes π buried in the ice, Santa picked the right pole as long as global warming doesn’t get worse! π¬
New month and new topic next week, time to enter a world of magic and tall tales π, see everyone on Monday!
