We’ve been investigating fairytales this week and learning about a few of the characters we might find and the places they live. We learned about castles 🏰 home to kings 🤴and queens 🫅, protected by battlements filled with archers 🏹 and drawbridges and portcullis’ to keep villains out, and we built a few of our own. Everyone became knights 🛡️ for a day testing their skills with swords ⚔️ and armour, and we rounded off the week with a jousting competition which tested horse riding 🐴 and lance skills.
